Why a Bus?
The Happy Camper sensory bus was created to overcome the limitations observed in other traditional pediatric settings. This medium for therapy increases accessibility and customization of therapy while limiting scheduling demands.

Happy Camper offers group sessions of directly at school to target a wide variety of developmental and school-readiness skills. Smaller semi-private groups are available for children with specific target areas (such as attention, emotional regulation, handwriting, reading, or listening skills).
1:1 Therapy

Private individual occupational therapy sessions are available for children that would benefit from a formal evaluation and treatment plan with established goals. These sessions are completely tailored to the individual child and their goals. Private sessions are available at the child's school or home locations.

The Happy Camper sensory bus is available for private parties providing an "open gym" design created and facilitated by an occupational therapists for the functional needs of the age group participating.
Sammie Knetsch, MOTR/L
Sammie is a certified & licensed pediatric occupational therapist. Her passion is helping kids reach their potential and philosophy is that the best growth is made when kids are having fun!
She has honed her skills through experience working within public schools, private practices, and home health settings. When Sammie isn't working on the Happy Camper bus, she enjoys cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning, listening to live music, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her golden retriever, Wrigley!
